The Reunion That Wouldn't Let Me Leave

I was traveling with a friend to visit people from my past.

I saw an old friend who had a baby that seemed disabled. The child was toddler-aged but behaved like a newborn.

We went to a park where my high school reunion was happening.

In the dream I barely recognized the people, but dream-me knew who they were.

Everyone seemed obsessed with me. I was getting stopped constantly and hit on by many people.

When it was time to leave I started doing backflips and parkour moves across the park to reach the parking lot.

The person driving me was waiting, but I realized I had lost my phone.

I went back and got surrounded by even more people.

There were dozens of phones on the ground and I tried to find mine.

One black phone looked like mine but was too big. Another purple phone looked right but had the wrong screen.

Later I ran into someone who knew the real-life version of me. She was now a chef cooking for the event.

Her husband was helping serve food.

The men at their table kept flirting with me.

The chef asked me to help prepare a dish with chewy pieces and chamoy sauce. I made a mess but the guests loved it.

One man secretly handed me a lot of money. I tried to refuse but he insisted.

He asked if I could help him win a game at another section of the event.

I agreed just to help my friend receive a good tip.

One of the women at the table whispered that she had taken a sexy photo with him and he was hers.

She wasn’t rude about it.

I laughed and told her she could have him.
