The Crash That Felt Too Real

Dream recorded 8/16/2024

I was driving what first seemed like a car, but it may have actually been a small white two-seater motorcycle vehicle. I was merging onto a highway that curved into a circle when another car swerved into my lane. An older woman was driving.

To avoid hitting her I swerved hard and spun into a circle. I flew out of the vehicle and remember being airborne. I was wearing a helmet, which made me think the vehicle must have been a motorcycle-like car.

I hit the ground and flipped several times. I lay there for a moment and realized I could still feel everything. I was alive.

I stood up and walked over to a police car that had someone pulled over. At first they didn’t believe me when I said I had just been in an accident, but then they noticed how bruised I looked.

They found my white vehicle completely damaged and took me to the hospital. I was limping on my right foot but otherwise seemed okay.

At the hospital I was lying on a bed that felt more like a large king bed than a hospital bed. Two nurses and a doctor asked me to remove my right shoe.

When I did, there was a huge gash in my foot. The muscle was purple and something inside the wound was moving in and out as if it were alive. It looked like part of my liver or a muscle shifting.

They all reacted and said, “Oh yeah, that’s bad.”

The dream felt so real that I woke up limping and even limped to the bathroom.

Dream 2

I was at a party at an apartment complex flirting with the main actor from the show You. I have never actually watched the show, but I know about it.

We went to an upstairs party that became chaotic. At one point I was on the floor and the werewolf actor from Twilight kissed me and started grinding on me.

I joked that it was easy because I didn’t even have to try.

Later I was in the bathroom with a guy sitting on me while twerking. Then my dad called and told me to come get my vehicle.
