The Waiting Room of Futures

Dream recorded 12/1/2025

I was in a big room and auditorium. At first, I was looking for hair supplies. I was driving down a road and path I had never seen before. It reminded me of TX. Me and Dre were talking about our son's school. He liked another school and wanted me to change his school but was open to suggestions.

I saw a glimpse of what he was talking about, like my thinking in my dream took me to my son's memory to help me see what Dre was talking about.

We were driving down a road I've seen before. Dre was driving. I was annoyed he missed a turn after asking to turn here, but I didn't show it. When we were driving, I saw a road I remembered in Hutto, TX.

Then the road was dirt roads and streets. I saw a junkyard on our way. It was a smooth drive, no bumps, no stops, no stop lights.

Then we pulled up. It was a small Asian spot, a guy at the front desk to the left when you come in. Then it reminded me of a nail salon. She had a bunch of stuff. She asked what I wanted. She showed me a brown shelf with rows, and she had an incense going off near the supplies. I was looking for repair and hydrating oils for my hair.

She then showed me some breast clamp bikini tops for itty-bitty A cups, like she did not understand what I was asking even though she showed me the oils.

Then the scene changed to another room with displays, books. In this room, it was a bunch of people and workers. The room was bright. It was an Apple Store-like setup mixed with a library and a clothing store, small and big.

We had to fill something out and wait.

There was a Black girl. I couldn't see her face. She may have had dreads or braids. She felt like me. Me and her were trying to figure out something together. It felt like a side mission I went on in the dream with her, a new place, but I didn't leave the room.

Then the Asian lady was still there, but she said something off the wall while trying to explain something to us in a rack of stuff. I think it was a foul joke.

2 white guys with dark hair, both flamboyant, were with me. One of the two guys looked shocked with me after we heard the Asian lady.

I remember his face, smooth creases but not old, like well-defined bone structure but odd features. Not ugly, not weird, but unique in a pretty but odd way.

We were waiting to be shown something for our future, maybe money, IDK.

This other lady, ginger hair, straight, tall, who I saw before, said, "Who's next?" I knew she was important.

Everyone raised their hands, including me. It was me next, but the gay couple went up. I wasn't upset. I wasn't in a rush.

But theirs wasn't filled out. I filled out mine and followed the directions. They had to leave their filled-out paper in their pocket area somewhere else.

She then told them again. Some other lady in the front yelled the instructions again.

The ginger lady said, "Next," and me and the Black girl from before both raised our hands.

She looked at us both, smiled, and said since it's us, this should go really fast.
