THE REVERSER AND THE BROKEN TIMELINE

Before my dream started I heard a loud voice again that woke me up and made my heart skip a beat. Sometimes I wonder if I’m dying in my sleep or if something is trying to get my attention. For a few minutes I felt like I wasn’t myself.

Dream: I was in a dystopian era. Somehow I had transferred there because I had been in a lab earlier, but I can’t remember what I was doing.

Everyone in this place wore animal skins and used wooden tables and chairs. They were preparing for war with another tribe.

I was helping them escape. I was gathering items from modern times like pencils and old pens. They even had an old computer that still worked.

I helped them find a device called a reverser. They threw it at the tribe chasing them and it forced the attackers to go fifteen minutes backward in time, giving us a fifteen-minute head start.

On the computer they had a video explaining what happened years earlier. A massive electrical surge hit everything and stopped time. The Earth stopped rotating in their dimension. They had adapted but without technology or knowledge.

We were heading to a cave while collecting more items. Another woman was with me showing artifacts they had gathered. It was clearly the far future but people lived like an ancient past.

In the cave there was a shimmering wall of plasma that acted as a time portal. They told us we all had to jump through it at the exact same time or we would arrive somewhere else. One second difference could mean years apart.

We jumped and arrived somewhere that felt like the 1920s. A man greeted the white woman kindly but was suspicious of me and the others with darker skin. He was confused about where we came from.
