The Mansion by the Water

The dream began with us leaving an airport to go somewhere.

Then it shifted into many different scenes.

At one point we were trying to enter a house while possibly running from something.

There was a huge yard with a wire fence.

I saw an older man sitting in a backyard filled with hoarded items. There were also several dogs.

There were many of us together.

I felt like an intruder, like we weren’t supposed to be in that home. There were two houses or buildings.

Then there was a beautiful old mansion with many people inside.

The house felt like it might belong to me, but I’m not sure.

We were able to enter and needed to retrieve some things.

I realized I didn’t have swimming trunks for my child. I thought through it like I would in real life and imagined him swimming in normal shorts just this once.

The mansion was massive with countless rooms.

I saw someone driving up, an old friend I was excited to see, even though I was inside the mansion.

Something about the mansion and the other people there felt off.

We tried to blend in and act normal.

It felt like we were hiding something.

Outside there was a massive body of water.

The dream felt very long and detailed, but I’m missing many parts of it.
