The Liquid Sphere on the Ceiling

I’m not sure if this was a dream.

I was lying in bed and the scene looked identical to my real room.

I looked at the ceiling and saw a thin line of liquid forming.

The liquid gathered into a sphere about the size of a beach ball.

It mirrored the ceiling but was transparent and fluid, constantly moving.

I said, “It’s here. Are you here?”

Then my child moved on top of me and the sphere disappeared.

I even got up afterward and went to the kitchen to get food.

I’m not sure if my eyes had been open while dreaming or if I was half-awake.

I felt like something was in the room when I saw the sphere, but I wasn’t scared.

It felt more like acknowledging someone’s presence.
