THE FINE WE COULD NOT IGNORE

We were driving and passed some trucks and motorcycles. We got into trouble and had to go into an office.

They told us the fine was $2,600. They mentioned that in New Zealand the fine would be even higher in America, so maybe we were in New Zealand.

I asked what would happen if we didn’t pay and they gave me a serious look. The person with me quickly said we would pay, so I corrected myself and said we would pay.

Then someone came in named Ray or Raymond. I knew who he was and he helped us.
