The Crying Cats in the Backyard

I was inside a house at night and heard a cat crying in distress.

It was the same type of cry cats make when they are hurt or wet.

In real life on 12/16 I heard this same sound outside my apartment.

In the dream I looked outside and saw two cats and several kittens.

One was a beige medium-haired Persian-looking cat making the same crying sound.

Another smaller chocolate-and-beige cat was nearby.

There were newborn kittens of many colors sleeping on a pet bed.

I went outside to help but was attacked.

The smaller chocolate cat bit my hand.

It hurt, but I’m used to animals, so I gently shook it off because I still wanted to help them.

The backyard looked like a mix of my grandmother’s backyard and somewhere else.

The house kept changing.

I told someone inside what I had found.

In the dream I eventually brought the cats and kittens inside.

I had to calm someone down who got too excited about the kittens after I explained the situation.

Then something shifted and I wasn’t there anymore.

I woke up.
